Of the many books that I read through each year, perhaps none have been more influential than Heaven, by Randy Alcorn. It is an amazing work that answers numerous questions on the topic of the afterlife. 

If you have questions about Heaven, this is a great way to answer some of them. This book is very easy to read, plain spoken, and easy to understand.

Revelation 3:11 says, "Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown."

In college I wrote to an author I admired asking some of these same questions. He wrote back and said, “Be prepared for an apprenticeship of years.” He was right.

I was raised in a non-Christian home, and first heard the gospel when I was 15 years old.  After reading the Bible daily over a period of months, I placed my faith in Christ in 1969.

Someone recently showed me an article from a reputable Christian magazine that stated we will not have physical bodies in the future heaven, based on an (incorrect) understanding of the reference in 1 Corinthians 15 to a “spiritual body".

Seventeen family members sat in breathless silence in the crowded living room, all of them looking at Obadiah. He sat silently for a long time, eyes down. Tears fell into his lap. Finally he looked up.

I really enjoyed writing In Light of Eternity.

Read only the best books. Do not neglect books. Do not neglect THE Book.

I don’t know when I have read a novel that affected me so profoundly. Randy Alcorn has combined a superb mystery/detective story with a lesson in racial relations in America, gang dynamics and symbols, Christian values, and spiritual warfare. — D. K.

The Purity Principle is well-written, short, and to the point. It is deeply biblical, and greatly convicting. 

Regarding readers or reviewers who don’t like my books, when I conclude that some people think worse of me than they should, I always remind myself that some think better of me than they should.
