Can we really know in advance where we’re going when we die? The apostle John, the same one who wrote about the new heavens and New Earth, said in one of his letters, “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:13, emphasis added). 

The Bible actually has quite a lot to say about Heaven. Randy Alcorn’s 50 Days of Heaven presents us with an easy but profound read that takes away much of the mystery about life after death.

Let me start by saying: absolutely you are not sentenced to Hell if you know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.

The “unpardonable sin” of blaspheming the Holy Spirit is something a believer cannot do.

I personally believe that Christian fiction can be fully honoring to Christ.

The Ishbane Conspiracy is a great book for Christian teenagers. The topics, though mature, are completely plausible. Your eyes will be opened to the different evils of the world as the characters experience them. 

Revelation 3:11 says, "Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown."

This book is an excellent read for your kids to understand Heaven. I pre-read it before giving it to my kids. Randy does a great job in bringing it down to their level with language that the kids are used to. — D. C.

This little booklet is fantastic and such a comfort in time of grief. The first one I had was given to me at the time of my husband’s death. I used it like a daily devotional.

It is very possible that many Christians do not even recognize the hold that materialism has upon their lives. Alcorn’s work helps us to see just how devastatingly attached we are to our things, and how sadly we miss the joys of giving. — T. P.
