Mortal means you can die.

Think about the person you would most want to spend time with. Who would that person be? Your favorite singer, author, or athlete? Your best friend who moved away? A family member who’s already died?

I’ll cut and paste two portions from the book below. If you only want section specifically on breathing, go to 6f below.     As to Scripture and beginning of life, I follow with excerpt from Appendix B: Abortion in the Bible and Church History. The portion concerning Jesus and John the Baptist in Luke 1 is especially revealing I think.

In 2 Corinthians 12 Paul calls the third heaven “paradise.” When Jesus (before his resurrection), refers to where the thief on the cross would go, he calls it paradise.

In keeping with our finite natures, we’ll experience process in heaven. We will continually learn more of God.

I don’t recall watching a Sunday morning news or commentary program for years, but in God’s providence I turned on the television four weeks ago, just a few minutes before Brit Hume made his now famous comments about Tiger Woods. 

Science confirms exactly what Scripture demonstrates, that there is a point at which human life does not exist and then is suddenly created by God. In Science this is known as the point of conception.

That first century Jewish culture understood truth far better than grace. Grace comes first in John 1:14 because it was more surprising.

We shouldn’t be ashamed to talk about what God wasn’t ashamed to create. However, God requires us to address the subject in keeping with his intentions and requirements, not the world’s.

A story rewritten may best express my feeling about the book.

If your life was perfect, then what would you need Me for?

I desire, I want to be a jewel that does not cringe if God chooses to give my soul a hard scrubbing every now and then.

Get near to God if you want to enjoy what He has prepared for you. Live in simple, loving fellowship with Him if you desire to drink in His fullness.
