It is talking about the present Heaven, apparently, since the New Earth comes on the scene after the final judgment, and Revelation isn’t about the New Earth until Revelation 21-22. However, some aspects of the present Heaven may be shared by the future post-resurrection Heaven.

This is a good reminder that there is a time to not only pay full price, but also to pay in excess to the glory of God, if that’s more pleasing and honoring to Him.

And if she can’t, isn’t the solution changing society rather than killing children?

While we should rejoice that persecution has lessened significantly in some places, let’s be careful not to perpetuate the lie that Christians are no longer persecuted in China.

God is good. But until we understand the truth that He is not safe, that He is not under our control, until we come to grips with the truth of His uncompromising holiness, we will never begin to grasp His amazing grace.
