Ron Carlson, our dear friend and fellow worker in the gospel of Christ, and the founder of Christian Ministries International, went home to be with our Lord last week. Our hearts go out to his wife Marge and his sons Jared and Jason. Ron was an expert in the cults, and we’re happy that his sons plan to continue their father’s work.

I spoke with Ron at a conference just last month. We hugged, and he was as vibrant and servant-hearted as ever. At one point during his message, the audience was touched by his deep love for Mormons as he choked up sharing about how they were deceived and of his desire for them to know the one true God, the living Christ.

Thank you, Ron, for faithfully serving our King. Thank you, Jesus, for using your son and servant Ron Carlson in countless lives, including mine.

For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. (2 Cor. 4:17-18, ESV)
