I want them to be able to do, in most cases for the first time, exactly what Peter assumes all Christians are doing: “looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness” (2 Peter 3:13).

I studied verse 10 and clearly, whatever is being spoken of in verse 9 is also being spoken of as being revealed to us by the Spirit in verse 10. I also went to the beginning of the passage....
